Vintage Crown Trifari Enamel Peacock Brooch — Green & White Trifanium, Rare Colorway, c. 1955–1969

This diminutive peacock brooch is a rare find — not only for its pristine condition, but for its colorway. Of the handful of Crown Trifari peacock brooches that surface on the collector market, the green and white enamel version is the scarcest. The blue colorway appears occasionally; this one almost never does. Active market research confirms only one comparable green-and-white example currently listed — and that one shows enamel loss. This piece does not. The enamel is fully intact, vivid, and shows no wear whatsoever.

Hallmarked Crown Trifari ©, placing its manufacture firmly between 1955 and 1969 — the copyright symbol era introduced after Trifari's landmark 1954 legal victory protecting costume jewelry designs. The body is cast in Trifanium, Trifari's proprietary post-WWII base alloy developed specifically to resist tarnishing and maintain a lasting gold-tone shine without polishing. It works. Decades later, this little bird still gleams.

Excellent — No Enamel Wear. The green and white enamel is fully intact with no chips, losses, or crazing. Gold-tone Trifanium finish is bright and clean. Clasp is functional and secure. A genuinely superior example of this rare brooch.
